Yulai is a restaurant matching app that ranks nearby places to your personal Food Fingerprint instead of crowd ratings.

Accepted Answer

Right now, Yulai is available in Germany, Poland, and Italy, in Aachen, Cologne, Gdansk, and Milano.

Question 8

Do you sell my data?

Accepted Answer

No. We do not sell your personal data. We only use aggregated trends for product and market insights, never individual identities.

Question 9

Can I delete my data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It is your footprint, not ours. You can request full account deletion directly in the app. Your data will be permanently removed after a standard 30-day safety grace period.

Question 10

How is my Food Fingerprint used?

Accepted Answer

It is used to calculate how well restaurants fit your taste, diet, budget, and distance preferences.

Question 11

Who can see my profile?

Your profile is private by default. Only you and friends you choose to connect with can see shared profile details.

Question 12

How do restaurants join?

Accepted Answer

Restaurants can contact us to join Yulai and learn about access to our data tools.

Question 13

Can restaurants pay for higher rankings?

Accepted Answer

No. You cannot buy a higher match score. Recommendations are pure math based on taste compatibility. Restaurants pay for data insights, not for artificial visibility.

Question 14

What types of places are listed?

Accepted Answer

Yulai lists restaurants and food spots across different price points and cuisines, as long as we have enough reliable data to score them.

Question 15

What is a Food Fingerprint?

Accepted Answer

Your Food Fingerprint is your personal taste profile. It combines your likes, dislikes, diet, budget, and distance preferences so Yulai can rank places that fit you.

Question 16

What is the difference between Matching and Discover More?

Accepted Answer

Matching is personalized search on the home screen. Yulai scores restaurants for you. Discover More is a swipe-up browse feed for exploring nearby places without running a full match. Free includes 5 Discover More cards per week; Yulai+ is unlimited.

What are advanced filters?

Accepted Answer

Tap More on Matching to open advanced filters for establishment type, taste bias, and features. Free includes 3 filter sessions per week; Yulai+ is unlimited.

How do I find my friends on Yulai?

Accepted Answer

Search by username in Find Friends. Once connected, use Taste Compare on their profile to see saved and visited overlap, and invite them into group searches.

Travel Mode is part of Yulai+. Pick any supported city, adapt your taste profile locally, run Quick City Search, or use Plan a Trip to build a culinary itinerary.

Yulai is available on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). Availability expands city by city.

Question 22
